Let's connect
It was a smokey night but I headed off to Pearce Estate Park for my last engagement session of the summer. If you want to see more sneak peek galleries go here.
The haze had rolled in for the evening but Sarah and Jason were happy and ready to go anyway! And what a handsome couple! They made my job so easy. A few quick words and out came those model instincts and our Calgary Engagement Photography was easy peasy.
What we didn’t account for were all the mosquitoes! I suppose we Albertans have gotten lazy since it’s been a dry season, but not this time, they were out and they were hungry. None of us had bug spray but Jason came with a bounce sheet, which is apparently a life hack we all should know. Carry a bounce sheet to keep mosquitos away! He was being left alone, but poor Sarah in her pretty dress was squatting them away. So here’s why their marriage is going to be awesome… Jason gave the bounce sheet to his wife to be … a self sacrificing move … and immediate poor Jason was eaten alive! But he didn’t complain and just supported Sarah is her modelling debut!
I had never been to see the Bow Passage Overlook, a piece of public artwork in Calgary. Made for some awesome photographic compositions. Definitely pretty and worth a look.
What a sweet couple! They are just so excited to get married and what fun we are going to have at the wedding in August out in Canmore!
If you are planning your own engagement session and are wanting so tips on how to look this good, I have a what to wear guide here.
